A FLOW is a one day mini-seminar that involves a number of sophomores from a high school or several high schools in an area. Become part of the FLOW committee today!
FLOWs are often sponsored by our ever-supportive service organizations such as Kiwanis and GFWC as well as individual community members. At the workshops, students participate in leadership activities as well as learn that being goofy and enthusiastic can be a lot of fun.
Anyone can host a FLOW! Alumni can organize and host one at their schools, or enlist the help of the local service organization to host it in the community for several schools. Get involved and spread the message of leadership and service!
FLOW 2007 was a huge success!
Location: Mountain View High School
Participants: 23 total including staff
Speakers: Bill Meyers, Molly Doctors, Alexandra Shokrolla, Scott Backovich
Service Project: Created 100 bagged lunches for local homeless shelter
FLOW is a great opportunity for NCYLS Alumni to increase their leadership skills while increasing the impact of the seminar and student service.

“I really learned a lot here. What I've learned the most is about myself. I learned that one person really can make a difference no matter whom or what they are. Coming here was just so amazing. This experience is so indescribable. I really loved it and want to be a part of it next year.” -Naznin Sheikh, Mercy (SF)
“This seminar means so much to me, including growth and inspiration to not be afraid to make a change in my community and the world. It truly was an outstanding experience that taught me all about communication and leadership. This seminar is one of the best learning opportunities I've ever had.” -Sarah Laufman, Westmont
