Welcome to NCYLS!

The Northern California Youth Leadership Seminar (NCYLS) believes in fostering leadership and a commitment to service in high school sophomores to enable them to create change in their communities and in the world.

handsNCYLS is a non-profit, three-day seminar focused on cultivating critical thinking, communication, responsibility and leadership skills in high school sophomores who demonstrate leadership potential.

We have motivated thousands of student leaders with a unique program that focuses on developing leadership potential through interactive discussions with community and business leaders and teaches the importance of volunteerism through hands-on service projects.

With over 20 years of service to students and communities, NCYLS is committed to inspiring and motivating the youth of Northern California.

Each school in Northern California from Gonzales to Modoc has the opportunity to send one sophomore representative to the NCYLS seminar held May 29th to May 31st, 2009 at Menlo College in Atherton, CA.
